I was a Cellular One customer when Alltell bought it out and I've had more than my share of bad service from Alltell.  It's the industry that sucks, and evidently Alltell sucks the least.]]></description>

I have alltel and since I upgraded plans there have been lie after lie about the cost first I was told that the plan change would only be 200 after the rebaest at the store and the 150 in mail in rebates would pay all but 50 of what was left. this is not true. I had a bill of over 400 dollars and am trying to get that paid and not lose my phone service right now. ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Alltel Wireless tip: Back in January I was unable to find out how many minute I had used.  A call to Alltel went unanswered.  I called my store of purchase and left a message to call me.  My seller called back next morning before I was up.  I was in Texas.  He went so fast I did not get what he was saying.  I called again and asked him to return my call.  He did not.  I called a third time---no response.  I called the company again and got a live rep.  He said to wait while he checked my phone record.  He never came back.  After 2 weeks I finally could get my minutes.  By that time I was 180 over.  When I got home I went to the store.  The manager said she would try to get me a reduction of at least 25% but would try for 50%.  I got neither.  They gave me a courtesy reduction of $4.  Which was what they overcharged me for having called Alltel, supposedly at no fee.  Oh, and I paid my 50% when I left the store.  They will not give me the name of somebody higher up to call and I can not find a name on line. ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Alltel Wireless tip: While traveling out of coverage, Alltel calls to tell me my bill is late, and left a number to call back.  When i got the message, i called back.  Their prerecorded prompts only offer two options, "press one to pay now", or "press star to hear again".  No options are given for alternate contact, or to speak with a customer service rep.  This is asinine and obnoxious.  Stop assuming that pre-recorded prompts can address every situation.  Until I found GetHuman, I could not reach a live voice.]]></description>
